Faith
My faith is very important to me, and I’m always happy to talk about it with anyone who is interested.
While people sometimes make Christianity sound complicated, the core message is actually very simple.
The Bible teaches that all of us fall short and cannot earn our way to God on our own. The heart of the Christian message is that Jesus of Nazareth — fully God and fully man — gave His life to pay the price for our sins so that we could be reconciled to God.
This gift is not something we earn. It is something we receive through faith.
That’s the foundation.
The rest of the Christian life — the teachings, disciplines, and patterns found in the Bible — are not ways to earn God’s love. Rather, they are ways we live in response to it, expressing gratitude and learning to live in the way God designed life to work.
If you ever have questions about faith, you’re welcome to ask. I’m not a theologian, but I’m always glad to have an honest conversation.
